SiGMA Africa Awards 2026

Uplatform has been shortlisted at the SiGMA Africa Awards 2026 in four categories: Best Marketing Campaign 2026, Best Online Sportsbook Provider 2026, Best Platform 2026, and Women in Gaming 2026, where our Head of Marketing, Maria Bashkevich, has been nominated.

These nominations reflect the work that we at Uplatform delivered over the past year across teams. The results are built on effort and coordination. It is a recognition of the Marketing Team, the Product Team, and everyone contributing behind the scenes.

The Best Marketing Campaign nomination highlights “Fresh Solutions for Juicy Profits”, created for SiGMA Central Europe in Rome. What began as a simple visual idea evolved into an amazing experience that brought people to the stand and increased social visibility. Interactive elements combined with a clear and focused message made the brand memorable for everyone at that exhibition.

Next nominations are: Best Online Sportsbook Provider 2026 and Best Platform 2026 which recognize the progress made within our product over the past year. The sportsbook delivers extensive international sports and esports coverage, flexible event and market configuration, and hands-on trading management tailored to each project’s needs. This depth is supported by our in-house trading team, continuous product refinement, and the ability to expand coverage in line with regional demand and operator strategy. At the same time, the casino offering has strengthened through a broad portfolio of trusted providers, giving operators the flexibility to shape their content mix according to audience preferences and local market specifics. Combined with the sportsbook, this approach supports stronger cross-vertical engagement and contributes to a more sustainable retention model.

Maria Bashkevich’s nomination for Women in Gaming 2026 reflects her leadership in shaping Uplatform’s marketing direction and international positioning. Her strategic oversight influences not only campaigns and expo presence, but also how the company communicates its value and aligns messaging with business goals. Her ability to maintain clarity in execution while encouraging team ownership has played a key role in the initiatives delivered over the past year.

And to celebrate those nominations, Uplatform will attend SiGMA Africa 2026 as a delegate. Zak, Sales Team Lead, will represent the company on site in Cape Town. During the summit, Zak will meet with operators planning to enter African markets or scale their existing casino and sportsbook projects. Discussions will focus on practical aspects of launch structure, payment configuration, early performance metrics, and long-term scaling. The objective is straightforward conversations about what works in practice, as Africa continues to attract operators due to rapid mobile adoption and strong sports engagement. Entering these markets requires careful preparation due to payment preferences vary significantly by country, mobile performance directly impacts user satisfaction and retention, and competition is intensifying in more established jurisdictions.

Being shortlisted across four categories reflects the results achieved over the past year. Attending SiGMA Africa is about continuing that work in new markets and building the next stage of growth.
